On Wednesday, February 5, another Quarterly Convention of young researchers was successfully held. The Quarterly Convention began with a tour of the laboratories of our scientific leaders, prof. PhD. Frane Barbir and prof. Ph.D. Ante Bilušić, who on this occasion showed the work and the way of using the equipment procured through the STIM-REI project.
Visiting the high-performance computing cluster – STINA, which is used by Prof. dr. h. c. Vlasta Bonačić-Koutecký and prof. dr. sc. Darko Koračin, was of greatest interest.

After the tour of the lab, young scientists presented the results of their previous research under Element I: Advanced Technology at Nanoscale. The lectures were given by Antonija Mravak, Josipa Šćurla, Anamarija Stoilova, Martina Perić Bakulić and Jelena Žarković.

At the end of the lecture, prof. dr. h. c. Vlasta Bonačić-Koutecký announced the next Quarterly Convention in May 2020 with topics from element II: Water and environment.

We invite you all to follow our news and announcements regarding the next Quarterly Convention and to join us at this event to gain insight into the work of the STIM Center and the progress of research!
